景徳鎮では明清以来、絵付けによる装飾ではなく、釉薬そのものの色彩と質感によって美を表現する「単色釉」の伝統が受け継がれてきました。清・雍正期に焼かれた淡黄釉もそのひとつで、象牙やクリームを思わせるやわらかな色合いと、しっとりとした肌合いで知られています。

景徳鎮の陶芸家・陸寿義によるこの茶杯は、そうした古い黄釉の趣を踏まえながら、茶のための器として制作されたものです。象牙黄釉はあえて淡く仕上げられ、茶湯の色を損なうことなく、白茶や烏龍茶の繊細な色合いを自然に引き立てます。

使うほどに手に馴染み、茶とともに育っていく一客です。

Handmade by Jingdezhen ceramic artist Lu Shouyi, this teacup is finished in a soft ivory-yellow glaze inspired by Jingdezhen’s long tradition of monochrome ceramics, where beauty is expressed through the glaze itself rather than painted decoration.

The gentle, creamy tone was intentionally kept light, allowing the color of the tea liquor to be appreciated with clarity. Especially suited to white and oolong teas, it brings a quiet warmth and understated elegance to the tea table.

陸寿義（ルー・ショウイー） LU SHOUYI

1980年生まれ　景徳鎮陶芸大学卒
影青、単色釉などの伝統的な高温磁器を専門とし
現在は、景徳鎮にて作陶

Born in 1980 and graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.
Specializes in traditional high-temperature porcelain such as blue and white, single-color glazes.
Now live and work in Jingdezhen, China.
